Browsing the site

You don’t need an account. We don’t use analytics, ads or tracking cookies, so nothing follows you around the site or the web. Like most websites, ours keeps short technical records, such as IP addresses, to stay secure and stop spam.

Applying to join the team

We collect what you put in the application: your name, email, school, grade, the role and hours you’re interested in, your answers, any links you add, and your resume.

Only the people on our team who review applications can see it. We use it to review your application, and if we invite you to an interview, your name and email go on the calendar invite for the person interviewing you.

We delete your application and resume 12 months after we decide on it. The copy emailed to our team inbox when you applied is deleted after 12 months too.

Signing up for an event

We collect your name, email, school, grade, anything you tell us would help you take part, and how you heard about the event. We use it only for that event and delete it 90 days after the event.

Sending us a message

We collect your name, email, phone number if you give one, and your message. Our communications team reads it and replies by email. We keep messages while we need them to follow up, and delete them when you ask.

Who else handles it

We never sell or share your information. Two services handle it for us:

• Hostinger hosts this website and the information on it.
• Google Workspace runs our email and calendars.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your information

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send us a message through the contact page using the email address you gave us, and we’ll answer within 30 days.
