About this opportunity
Capstone Robotics, Alberta's only free community FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team, is competing at the STEMley Cup in Hamilton, Ontario on November 1. A few of their students had to withdraw because of scheduling conflicts, so they're opening those spots to youth in Ontario.
It's open to anyone aged 13 to 18, and you don't need any robotics experience to take part. All team participation fees are waived, so it's free to join.
On the team, you can try the role that fits you: photography, social media, coding, engineering, robot building or communications. If you enjoy it, you can stay on with Capstone Robotics after the event.
The STEMley Cup is an annual off-season FRC competition in Hamilton, where teams from across Ontario come together to compete.
How to join: email Sophia Davies, founder of Capstone Robotics, at admin.frccapstone@gmail.com. The event is November 1, so reach out as soon as you can.
